How does it work?
- Wash your hair with Clarifying Shampoo to remove all product residue.
- Rinse thoroughly and towel dry your hair.
- Hair is completely dry and comb it well for frequent application.

Step 2: Keratin Treatment (Gold, Pure or Original)
The core of the treatment: happy, shiny and healthy hair with a choice of Gold, Brazilian or Original Keratin.
What is Keratin?
Keratin is a natural protein that repairs, hydrates, and smooths damaged hair. Our COCOCHOCO products contain high-quality organic ingredients for the best results.
How does it work?
- Wash your hair with Clarifying Shampoo and dry it completely.
- Apply the keratin regularly (avoid the scalp).
- Leave it on for 30-40 minutes and blow-dry your hair on medium heat.
- Use a straightening iron at 220°C (or 180°C for fine hair) to seal the hair.
- Avoid washing for 3 days for long lasting results.
Your hair will become visibly shiny, frizz-free and supple.

How a keratin treatment works
Keratin is the protein your hair itself is made of. A treatment fills the gaps that heat, coloring and sun have created in the hair shaft.
Wash the hair twice with the clarifying shampoo, without conditioner. That removes buildup and opens the hair cuticle.
Apply the keratin in thin sections, leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, blow-dry and straighten at 200 to 230 degrees.
Do not wash the hair for 72 hours. After that, wash sulfate-free only, because sulfates rinse the keratin out.

How long does the result last?
On average 12 weeks, and up to 4 months with good aftercare. The difference comes almost entirely down to whether you wash sulfate-free.
Which line suits my hair?
Original for thick, dark and curly hair. Gold for colored hair and extra shine. Pure for blonde, fine or sensitive hair. Onyx for severely damaged hair. Hair BTX if you want repair without straightening.
Can it be used on colored or bleached hair?
Yes. Color first, keratin after. After coloring you can go almost straight on, after bleaching leave about a week. For blonde hair, Pure or Gold is usually the best choice.
What should I avoid in the first 72 hours?
Do not wash it, do not tie it up, no clips or elastics. If the hair does get wet or kinked, simply straighten it again.
Does my curl change permanently?
No. A keratin treatment smooths for as long as the layer lasts and then gradually grows out.
What else do I need besides the treatment?
A clarifying shampoo beforehand, a ceramic straightener that reaches 230 degrees, gloves, and sulfate-free aftercare. Our sets contain all of it together.
