COCOCHOCO Onyx 1000ml

The COCOCHOCO Onyx is an advanced straightening treatment with a mineral complex that turns frizz and damage into straight, silky, healthy hair. Inspired by the strength and elegance of a timeless gemstone, and suitable for all hair types.

Enriched with natural proteins, minerals and plant oils, this formula repairs, strengthens and hydrates every hair fibre. The result is smooth, shiny, straight hair — for up to 6 months per treatment.

How to use:

  1. Wash the hair thoroughly twice with COCOCHOCO Clarifying Shampoo. Comb through and towel dry.
  2. Divide the hair into four sections. Apply the product to damp hair in thin sections, starting 0.5 cm from the roots down to the mid-lengths.
  3. Cover the hair with a cap. Leave on for 30 minutes, then apply to the ends and wait another 30 minutes. Do not tie the hair up with clips or elastics.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, comb gently and towel dry.
  5. Blow-dry the hair completely and straighten thin sections with a flat iron at 200–220 °C. Let the hair rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Rinse, apply COCOCHOCO Sulphate-Free Conditioner evenly and rinse thoroughly. Blow-dry and finish styling.

How long does it last? 3 to 4 months on average. With sulphate-free aftercare, up to 6.

Does it work on coloured hair? Yes - colour first, keratin after. For dyeing you can go almost straight after; for bleaching, wait a week. The treatment actually seals in your colour, so it lasts longer.

Can I do this myself at home? Yes, with a hairdryer and a ceramic straightener that reaches 230 degrees. Allow about two hours the first time.

How to use it

Prepare

Wash twice with the clarifying shampoo, without conditioner. That opens the hair cuticle so the keratin can bond.

02
Treat

Apply in thin sections, leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, blow-dry and straighten with a ceramic straightener at 200 to 230 degrees.

03
Maintain

Do not wash for 72 hours. After that wash sulfate-free only, otherwise the keratin rinses out.
